Probiotics For Skin Care

Daily skincare is an essential regimen one needs to follow to keep the skin hydrated. Physical, Chemical, fungal, bacterial all problems damage the skin area first and then to the other organs. It is the primary defense against the environment, so keeping it active and healthy is very important.

A variety of skin products are available in the market, promising to make the skin look young and supple. Continuous use of harsh antibacterial soaps and facial cleansers leaves the skin dry and stressed. Even the healthy bacteria or the good bugs on the skin layer, who reinforce healthy skin gets damaged. Skin’s natural bacterial ecosystem gets interrupted, which eventually causes skin issues like breakouts, dryness, eczema, rosacea flares, and psoriasis.

In present times many skin products are finding their way into the probiotic industry. Probiotics are helpful microorganisms, facilitate numerous health and skin related functions. Probiotics are beneficial for keeping skin youthful and also in reducing skin conditions with different problems. For skin, the probiotics work similarly, as the digestive system.

The regular usage of probiotics creates a protective shield against harmful bacteria, reduces inflammation, stops premature aging in skin, keeps the skin hydrated, etc. People with acne problems, using probiotics topically, creates a healthy environment for the good bugs and maintains the balance of skin requirements against zit-causing bacteria.

Prebiotics and Probiotics are two terms often used by dermatologists. A combination of pre and probiotics protects the skin. The combination ensures the skin gets what it needs to maintain smoothness. It is the first line of barrier which keeps the balance making the skin younger and strong. They also help to balance the skin’s microbiome, which is present in our gut and boosts our immune system. The imbalance of the microbiome brings harshest results for the skin.

Our skin is densely colonized with several active microbiota. It is of high importance for human health and well-being, and these microorganisms are located in a specific environment. The microbiota contributes to the protective functions of the human skin in many ways. They help our immune defenses. Nowadays, new cosmetic researches are reinforcing the skin Microbiota and its community of good bacteria, especially to maintain a healthy skin balance for normal, sensitive, and hypersensitive skin. When the bacterial ecosystem is equal and differentiated, the skin remains healthy and active  — stress, lifestyle, anxiety imbalances the natural defense system which harms our skin further.

Applying topical probiotics on the skin helps to maintain natural and nourished skin.

·      Topical Probiotics help to maintain the hydration level of the skin. It helps in keeping skin healthy and leaves it hydrated for a more extended period.

·      Probiotics help repair the skin and reduce sensitivity. With regular use of topical probiotics, scarring or blemishes reduces.

·      As per scientific studies, with topical use of probiotics helps to build collagen in our body, which supports to maintain smoothness and elasticity of the skin. Due to reduced inflammatory response, skin becomes more immune to the adverse effects of exposure to the sun, which further results in fewer wrinkles and fine lines.

Depending on different skin types like oily, dry, combination skin, or anti-aging, one should select the skin products. Probiotics need to be applied topically as they are prebiotic plant sugars, such as xylitol, rhamnose, and an extensive collection of ingredients known as fructooligosaccharides, which are useful sources of prebiotic and are also natural hydration. These components are present in a variety of leave-on skincare products.

To maintain a flawless glow, it is vital to nurture your skin as earliest as possible. In the market, you may find beauty products like cleansers, moisturizers, and serums packed with friendly bacteria that promise to soothe inflammation, strengthen the skin’s block, and even diminish acne. Before making any purchase, it is essential to find out the product that will suit your skin tone or not, as sometimes using a wrong skin type product can further damage the skin. It is imperative to keep skin cells flourish.

The powerful probiotic helps balance the skin’s natural flora and supports good bacteria so that it can resist acne bacteria and keep skin clear.
