The Last 2 Days prior to Climate Week NYC: TCI’s Honorable Attendance

This July, TCI was insistently invited by the Climate Group, the top and the most well-organized climate change organization in the world, to attend Climate Week NYC, the most influential event with the largest number of participants focusing on climate change as a keynote speaker in the session of Building Futures to share our outstanding achievements in sustainability, the commercial model featured with circular economy, the leadership of promoting the development of renewable energy, and the most environment-friendly, intelligent, and the state-of-the-art green factories located in our iManufacturing Center.

Back to 2018, Remi Lee, the Chief Sustainability Officer of TCI, represented TCI to attend the 2018 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP24) held in December in Portland. On behalf of Taiwan, we shared the difficulties faced by an enterprise who would like to devote to energy transition and the practical challenges and experience on the journey of sourcing renewable energy. We leaf a whole-new impression of TCI for the world.

# Participants including McKinsey & Company, Unilever, Estée Lauder, Johnson & Johnson, IKEA, and 3M will join this summit with the CSR Team of TCI in the very last 2 days. TCI and those big names will become the role models for global climate action!

# Climate Week NYC is an annual event that has taken place every year since 2009. The summit takes place alongside the UN General Assembly and brings together international leaders to showcase the agreements and the determination on global climate action.
