The 5,959 tons of carbon emissions from TCI’s S5 Panshi Functional Drink Factories, S9 Panshi Functional Food Factories and S11 Panshi Eco Facial Mask Factory in Pingtung Panshi Precision Intelligent Production Center were offset with Voluntarily Emission Reductions (VERs) and they complied with the Gold Standard set forth in the Kyoto Protocol to achieve carbon neutrality and zero-carbon emissions in the GHG certification system in the voluntary market.
TCI has also made multiple contributions to energy conservation. In addition to setting up an ISO 50001 Energy Management System, TCI also installed 961.405KW of solar panels on the roof of S5 Panshi Functional Drink Factories, S9 Panshi Functional Food Factories and S11 Panshi Eco Facial Mask Factory to produce 0.9GWH of clean energy each year instead of passive energy consumption.
